Visitors to the Alliance

Two new visitors have joined the Cambridge Service Alliance team, between them bringing expertise in servitization of manufacturing and performance monitoring.  We are pleased to welcome Taija Turunen and Tobias Graml to the Alliance team.  

  • Taija Turunen has joined the Cambridge Service Alliance for a six month period until December 2011.  She is a PhD candidate at Aalto University, Finland, working in BIT research centre and involved with several research projects build around the servitization of manufacturing phenomenon.  Taija’s research interests cover several topics in the field of industrial service operations and management. Her main focus is on identifying the organizational forms and structures needed in customer-oriented service operations.
  • Tobias Graml will be working with the Alliance until October , a visiting PhD Student from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich (ETH Zürich), Switzerland. His research deals with how online feedback can be leveraged to increase residential energy efficiency in an economically attractive way. Tobias is staying at the IfM until October to write his PhD thesis and to support the collaborative performance monitoring project.
