He is currently researching issues of performance and innovation in service businesses. |

Michael Barrett |
Michael is widely recognised for his work on Service Innovation in a Digital Age. Currently he is developing a World Bank report on IT infrastructure and new business models for developing economies. Michael has worked closely in research and executive education with a number of organisations including BT, IBM, HP, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Coventry Building Society, Shell Exploration, and the World Health Organization. |

Duncan is Professor of Service and Support Engineering at the Cambridge University Engineering Department, Director of the Distributed Information and Automation Laboratory and has led a range of research programmes relating to service information and service engineering. He has been involved in the design and operation of industrial automation and information systems for over twenty years. His interests in the services area relate to the value of service information, service information architectures and technologies and the reconfigurability of service systems. |
